The short, plain-English version of how we work: what a quote from us means, what we guarantee, and where responsibilities sit.
An installer, not a middleman
Wet Room Glasgow designs, tanks and installs wet rooms directly. We are not a referral service and we do not pass your enquiry on to other tradespeople. The people who survey your property are the people who carry out the work.
Written, itemised and property-specific
Every quote we provide follows a survey of the property. It is written and itemised, naming the tanking system and the drain specification, so you can see exactly what you are paying for and compare like with like.
A quote is specific to the property we surveyed and is not transferable to another property. No deposit is requested until a written quote has been provided and you have accepted it.
Workmanship and tanking warranties
Our workmanship is guaranteed in writing on completion of the installation.
Tanking system components carry the manufacturer's own warranty. That warranty is valid only when the products are installed as a complete system — which is how we install them, and one of the reasons we name the system in the quote rather than mixing components.
The owner's responsibility
In Scotland, deciding whether a building warrant is required for a wet room conversion — and obtaining one where it is — is the property owner's responsibility, not the installer's. We will always tell you honestly when we think a warrant is likely to apply, but the obligation itself sits with you as the owner.

Liability and governing law
We take reasonable care in everything we do, and our liability is limited to the value of the work we carry out. We are not responsible for issues arising from information withheld at survey, or from work carried out by others before or after our installation.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any dispute is subject to the Scottish courts.
