A plain-English note on what we collect through this site, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The details you send us
When you fill in the quote form on this site, we collect the details you type into it: your name, your email address, the area of Glasgow the property is in, the type of property, and whatever you tell us about the wet room project itself.
We do not collect anything else about you. There is no account to create, no newsletter list, and no tracking beyond what is needed to keep the site running.
One purpose: your quote
We use these details for one thing — to respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, and provide a written quote for wet room installation work. That is the whole list.
The legal basis for this is the consent you give us when you submit the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a direct enquiry sent to us.
Nobody else
Your details are not shared with, sold to, or passed on to any third party. They are used only by Wet Room Glasgow to respond to your enquiry. We do not buy or sell leads, and we do not operate as a referral service — the people who read your enquiry are the people who would do the work.
Only as long as it is needed
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to respond to your enquiry. Where a job goes ahead, we keep the relevant details for the duration of the work and the warranty period that follows it, so we can honour that guarantee. After that, they are removed.
What you can ask us to do
Under UK GDPR you have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, and to object to how it is used. In practice this is simple:
- Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong and we will correct it.
- Ask us to delete your enquiry details and we will delete them.
- Object to how your details are used and we will stop.
